Mia Hammett (Icon Alias) is a sound designer, composer, and computer music producer
who favors digital tools to produce a wide range of synthetic, organic, interconnected sounds and textures.

Informed by elements of early and contemporary MIDI classical music, New Age,
botanica, and experimental sound collage, her expressive computer
music seeks out evocations of the natural world through the joy
of sonic play by way of giddy computer-synth instrumentation
and gentle digital manipulation.
